Book Club

I love to read mainly non-fiction.  Here’s some of my favorites or what I’m currently reading….

4 Hour Work Week – As for many people that want to be more efficient with everything they do, this is probably my all-time favorite book and have read and listened to at least a dozen times.  I’ve given this book away many times as gifts4 Hour Work Week to like-minded people.  Highly recommended if you want to see how much better your life can be and learn from many of Tim Ferriss’ mistakes that he made along the way to become a very influential and wealthy dude.

The Secret

This is a super motivational book although I really prefer the audio version to hear the wide array of contributors.  The Secret falls squarely in the category of positive thinking about any and every area of your life.  One of my favorite things was learning about the vision board which I attribute to attaining many of the goals in my life including meeting my wife.

The Bulletproof Diet

This gem by master bio-hacker Dave Asprey of Bulletproofexec.com covers all and more of what I learned from Dave’s website blog and his podcast to lose weight and more importantly overcome my type II diabetes in less than a year.  I will be writing much more about my experience with this diet and the overall Bulletproof lifestyle.

The Art of Timing the Trade

So for anyone looking to get into trading and more specifically, technical trading, Tom’s system in this book covers it all.  You’ll need some basic knowledge of trading to appreciate this but Tom’s system has helped me tremendously over the years.  You can hear him put the system to work by listening to his daily radio show where he talks about the market and analyzes it using his proven system.

Rich Dad, Poor Dad

It’s hard to believe this book is considered a classic but I’ve read and listened to this several times to learn the mind sight of the Rich Dad vs the Poor Dad as explained by the author, Robert Kiyosaki.  This is a quick and easy read and will really get your juices flowing.  Absorb it and live it.
